I've gotten so behind on posting. John and Bella went and spent a month with my dad in Missouri. They had lots of fun hanging out with the chickens and turkeys and enjoying the country life. They are back home now and we love having them back. It's actually been a smooth transition back this time for which I am very thankful. My dad flew back with them and spent a few days here helping me with some home projects. Like fixing the dishwasher, I am SO glad to have that running again.
Hazel has finally started walking. She turns 18 months in a week and that's the cutoff for "normal" so we had actually gotten a referal to physical therapy. She may still need it but at least she is now taking several steps, and she is a much happier baby now.
School is going well, we start week 6 tomorrow. John made it all of last week without complaining about his school work.
And here's another video just because. We went out to Antelope Island while my dad was here. The bugs in the salt lake are crazy. I think I posted about it before, the black haze that's alive. I got a video of it this time. It is so weird to watch.

Las Vegas
The big kids are still in Missouri with Pappy so we decided to take a last minute trip to Las Vegas so Corey could go to a computer convention here. Much easier to throw together a vacation with only two kids. And Phoebe and Hazel really travel well. We got a hotel suite that has a living room and separate bedroom which makes sleeping with them a lot easier since they aren't in the room with us. So here's some pictures from our trip.
Breakfast buffet at The Palace Station (we have a picture of Corey standing with John and Bella in the same spot 4 years ago.)

The first day Corey was free so we hung out on the strip and did the M&M and Coke stores. And Phoebe was very excited to see Elmo. She keeps talking about how she met the real Elmo.

Sponge Bob (we're not a fan of him but Phoebe still thought he was cute.)

Then the next day Corey was gone so it was just me and the girls. We ate breakfast in our hotel room

And then we went to the Shark Reef Aquarium. I'd already been before (and so had Hazel for that matter) but it was Phoebe's first time. In fact this was her first trip to Vegas, even Hazel had already been twice. We've always left Phoebe in St. George with Corey's parents when we go.

And we had frozen yogurt

Then Corey and I went to the Tournament of Kings dinner show that night (his friend who also came for the convention babysat for us.) We loved it and definitely want to take John and Bella next time we're here.
And on the last day we went and saw the dolphins and white tigers at the Mirage. I had wanted to take Bella when we came last summer but we didn't get around to it. Next time we will, she'll love it.

I think Phoebe's favorite part though was pushing elevator buttons. We went on about a million elevator rides and she went on and on about pushing the button every single time.

Three Year Pictures
What happens when you make two kids songs from the same musical tune
How Phoebe ends the ABC's song....
W, X, Y and Z
Now I wonder what you are
Next time won't you sing with me
