One step forward, five steps back

Well Corey had the day off today which was nice. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, it's affordable if we all share but it's so tempting to order a bunch of different stuff because it's all so good. We were good though, luckily the sampler breakfast is cheap and has a lot of food with it. I finally remembered my camera this time and got pictures of the kids in the little rocking chairs, of course they came out a little to dark. The kids love the rocking chairs, wish I had a house and some money because I'd buy them.

We went to a mall and it wasn't really fun, okay it was really boring. The malls here just aren't that great. I picked up a toilet seat ring for Isabella though on the way home. As soon as we got in the door I stuck it on the toilet and she sat right down and pooped. I was so shocked and excited, and not changing a dirty diaper was really nice too. She seems much more comfortable on the big toilet than she does on the little potty seat. Of course then she peed out on the patio, pooped in her underwear, peed her pants at Wal-Mart and at the dinner table. So one step forward and five steps back. But at wal-mart she did say pee pee first and then looked really uncomfortable in her wet pants so I think she's going to catch on quickly (at least I'm really hoping she does.) Everytime I go to the bathroom now she comes running in saying "potty." And I think I figured out the "I'm about to pee" stare that she makes. It's going to be a busy, interesting week with lots of laundry. I wasn't sure last week when I decided to try the potty thing again if she was really ready but now I know she is. She knows she's going to pee and now has the vocabulary skill to let me know, it's just a matter of how stubborn she's going to be about it.
