Party Time!!!

Today was the party. I stayed up late last night making John special birthday cake. I was worried because I had tried 3 previous times to make one and failed each time (one actually boiled over in the oven.) It ended up being perfect though.

This morning we had a special breakfast with blue pancakes for fun. Everyone really like that and then I got the house all cleaned up. Jenny and her kids came around 2pm and we had so much fun. Everyone ran around like crazy making lots of noise. We ordered pizza, decorated sugar cookies and ate cake. John loved his cake and threw it on the floor 3 times. He was so tired though he almost fell asleep while eating it. I had to throw him in the tub afterwards because he was green. Then he immediately fell asleep. It was time for presents though so we had to wake him up.

Isabella tore into her gifts like a pro. I can't believe how good she did, considering at Christmas she didn't know what to do with them. And surprisingly John is quite good at it himself, Christmas this year is going to rock! All the presents are loved by both kids. Isabella spent the evening playing tea party and is now sound asleep on the floor. It's been a great day and now I'm really looking forward to a good night of sleep. It better not rain because me room is right by the rain gutter and I can't sleep when it rains.
